Every EPCOT Table Service Restaurant RANKED | the disney food blog (2024)

Walt Disney World has TONS of restaurants.

Some guests aren’t changing their plans!

Picking where to eat can be overwhelming especially if this is your first trip to Disney. From some of the best quick services to the worst food in Disney, there are LOTS of opinions. Breaking down every Disney World restaurant would definitely take a while so today, we’re just going to focus on a select few. Let’s head to EPCOT together and rank their best (and worst) table service!

EPCOT has tons of awesome quick services, festival booths, and table service restaurants that will be sure to offer even the pickiest eaters something to eat. However, we think it’s really important to know that not all of them are created equal. While we love some table services, there are definitely some we would probably avoid. So we gathered our list of sit-down restaurants at EPCOT and ranked them from worst to best (in our opinion).

Every EPCOT Table Service Restaurant RANKED | the disney food blog (2)

Coral Reef

To start off our list, we’re going under the seas (with Nemo and Friends). The Coral Reef restaurant is located in the World Nature section of EPCOT right next to The Seas with Nemo and Friends. This restaurant features great theming due to the fact that the restaurant looks into the Living Seas aquarium. While it’s very cool to eat surrounded by thousands of fish, this restaurant definitely has its flaws.

Coral Reef Restaurant

They offer a pretty big menu featuring lots of seafood but it’s not always the best quality. This restaurant tends to be a major hit or miss which is disappointing especially when you might be quite a bit of money for it. If you have kiddos that tend to struggle to stay entertained at restaurants, this might be a good option for you. But if you’re looking for some good quality food, we would suggest some other options.

Nine Dragons

The next restaurant we have takes us into China inside the World Showcase. Nine Dragons has a beautiful exterior, great service, and a lovely name but the quality of the food? Well, we would say it’s another hit-or-miss. While we would say it’s probably better than your hometown Chinese restaurant, we just don’t think it holds its own compared to other EPCOT restaurants.

Stir Fry at Nine Dragons

It’s not that this table service is bad, it’s just not that memorable to us. If you’re looking for a last-minute reservation though, this might be a good option for you. Anyone looking for actual spicy foods and a beautiful atmosphere might really like Nine Dragons. But, if you’re looking for memorable food with lots of dessert and mixed drink options, we think you should steer clear.

Tutto Italia Ristorante

Coming up next, we’re going to the Italy pavilion to rank Tutto Italia Ristorante. If you’re looking for a fun Disney date night with truly authentic Italian cuisine, this table service might be your answer. This restaurant’s menu was created by “award-winning chef and California restaurateur Joachim Splichal” who made sure there were tons of authentic from pasta to bread, to seafood dishes and cannolis.

Tutto Italia Ristorante

While we think it is truly authentic, we don’t really love the price tag that comes with it. For this price tag, we definitely think there are some better options especially if you’re looking for something more casual while in the park.

La Creperie de Paris

La Creperie de Paris is one of the newest restaurants in EPCOT. Tucked in the back of the France pavilion, this restaurant is right next to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. It offers a mixture of galettes and crepes but the theming inside isn’t really there. While we’d love to see a little more theming, we still like this table service!

La Crêperie de Paris

The food is good and the prices are reasonable (which is nice after our last restaurant). We also have noticed that reservations seem pretty easy to grab here which is a huge plus. If you’re not a fan of French food or buckwheat though, this one is probably not for you.

San Angel Inn

This next restaurant is gorgeous (we aren’t exaggerating). Located inside the Mexico pavilion, this restaurant sits side by side with the Grand Fiesta Tour boat ride. We love the dim-lit setting and the relaxing atmosphere. That being said, San Angel Inn is similar to Coral Reef. Sometimes this restaurant really hits the mark for us and other times? It’s incredibly disappointing.

San Angel Inn

While we love the atmosphere and we will keep going, it’s hard to know you might be gambling your money away. If you’re looking for potentially tasty items and a break from the parks, this is a great answer. If you’re not looking to lose a chunk of your park day on food that may or may not be good, we would tell you to try somewhere else.

Tokyo Dining

If you’re a sushi or sashimi lover, we have found your next table service! Tokyo Dining is a table service located in the Japan Pavilion above the Mitsukoshi Department Store. This restaurant offers some really great quality food and if you’re lucky, you might even have a view of Harmonious playing over the World Showcase lagoon if you’re there at the right time.

Our Spread at Tokyo Dining

That being said, if you’re not a fan of sushi and sashimi, this probably shouldn’t be one of your top choices. We also would say not to bank on watching Harmonious from your seat, but you can always watch from the walkway in front of the restaurant. If you’re looking for reasonable prices and a last-minute reservation, give this place a shot.

Spice Road Table

Our next table service is one that we think is an underrated gem. Spice Road Table is located in the Morocco pavilion and offers Mediterranean dishes and tapas. These small plates offer a punch with offerings like hummus with imported olives, mixed grilled skewers, and lamb sliders. Not only do we like the food, but we love the lakeside views too!

Spice Road Table

We think the food is great quality and we love this option when looking to mix up your usual Disney favorites, but it’s still not perfect. These dishes and tapas can add up fast and if you’re not an adventurous eater, you might struggle here. If those two things don’t worry you, we think you should give this a try!

Space 220

One of EPCOT’s other newest restaurants is Space 220. Located next to Mission: SPACE, Space 220 is currently one of the hardest reservations to grab in Disney World. This signature dining spot takes guests into space where they dine in the Centauri Space Station. Here you can look out into space while enjoying your meal and seeing astronauts float by. The atmosphere might but amazing but there are a few things about this restaurant that we aren’t fans of.

Space 220

For one thing, it’s pretty pricey. Dinner and lunch are both prix-fixe so if you normally like to have several options, this is a great choice. However, if you’re someone who normally only orders an entree, this might be more than you’re needing. One good thing is that you can try to head into the lounge where you can order menu items individually rather than being stuck with the prix-fixe menu. We think the “out of this world” views and space-themed co*cktails are amazing but if you’re looking for the quality of your meal to match the price, we would suggest skipping this option for now.

Monsieur Paul

This next restaurant is Monsieur Paul which is located in the France pavilion. Although it’s currently closed, we have loved Monsieur Paul in the past. This restaurant gives you lots of ways to dine because you can choose to order al-a-carte options, try a prix fixe tasting menu – with a 4-course Prestige and 7-course Dégustation – or you can add a wine pairing to your overall experience.

Monsieur Paul in the France Pavilion – currently closed

Here you can get dishes like Escargot, Roasted Duck, and Lobster Thermidor. However, if you ever go to this table service, you need to make sure to follow the dress code. Although it’s not that strict, you’ll need to make sure you aren’t wearing things like tank tops, flip flops, or torn clothing. (You can always pack a change of clothes if you need to). If you’re not looking for a long dining experience or a more expensive one, we wouldn’t recommend this for you whenever it reopens.

Biergarten

Next on the list is Biergarten. Biergarten is a German buffet in the Germany pavilion that is great for large parties. This restaurant offers lots of German favorites like bratwurst, schnitzel, nudel gratin, and live polka! For $46 per adult and $25 per child, this place is all-you-can-eat.

Biergarten Restaurant in EPCOT

If you’re looking for lots of food and a fun atmosphere, this might be your answer! If you’re not a fan of heavy meals and potentially being seated with other families, this shouldn’t be your first choice.

Teppan Edo

If you’re a hibachi lover, Teppan Edo has you covered. This hibachi grill offers all of the traditional hibachi fun right in the middle of EPCOT. The familiar family-style seating and personal chef are sure to be a fun experience for lots of families.

Teppan Edo

We think this is a great option if you’re celebrating but remember you will be seated with other families unless you’re a pretty big party. If you’re looking for something new and different, this probably isn’t the table service for you.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

The currently closed Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is next on the list. Once the best place in EPCOT to meet princesses, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall has yet to reopen after the closures. Kids were able to meet characters like Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Princess Aurora, Mulan, Cinderella, and Mary Poppins.

Akershus

One drawback is the dinner and lunch options can be pretty adventurous so if you’ve got picky eaters, breakfast would be your best option. While we don’t love how pricey it is, we are ready to see this option eventually open back up.

Takumi-Tei

Next on the list is another EPCOT restaurant this is still unavailable. Takumi-Tei is located in the Japan pavilion and we think it’s the best restaurant at EPCOT when it comes to elegance. The menu previously had lots of traditional Japanese offerings like Nikomi Wagyu bone marrow, the Kamo marinated duck, and a variety of different nigiri, sashimi, and maki sushi entrees.

Wagyu Taberkurabe Presentation

While we think this is an amazing experience, it’s hard to ignore the price. This is hands down the priciest meal at EPCOT and unless you’re looking for a true dining experience, this probably isn’t for you. It also isn’t super kid-friendly and it takes a lot of time from your park day.

Chefs De France

Heading back into France (can you tell they have lots of options?) we are talking about Chefs De France. This restaurant offers French staples such as Plateau de forages et charcuteries, French Onion Soup, and Beef braised Boeuf Bourguignon. This restaurant is an experience that removes you from the hustle and bustle of a Disney park.

Chefs de France

While we love the atmosphere and the classic French dishes, this restaurant isn’t for everyone. If you’re not looking to take a long time away from the parks and you have picky eaters in your party, this probably isn’t going to be what you’re looking for.

La Hacienda de San Angel

To begin our top 5, we have La Hacienda de San Angel. Located in the Mexico pavilion, this table service sits right on the water and serves up Mexican cuisine. This is our favorite dining option in this pavilion and, even though it’s let us down a few times, it’s still a favorite.

La Hacienda de San Angel

If you’re looking for well-made-Mexican dishes and views of the World Showcase Lagoon, this is a perfect option. If you’re not looking to spend too much or you want to branch out of your comfort zone, we would suggest you skip this one!

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

If you’re looking for pizza, we’ve found the place! Located in the Italy pavilion, Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is going to offer some top-notch pizza. We think they have some of the best pizza on property and it’s easy to share with a group!

Via Napoli

If you don’t like pizza this menu is pretty limited and it can cost a pretty penny. That being said, it’s in our top 5 for a reason.

Rose and Crown Dining Room

The Rose and Crown Dining Room is located in the UK pavilion and we think it’s one of the coziest places in EPCOT. It offers comfort meals like Sheppard’s Pie, Scottish Eggs, and Bangers and Mash. If you’re not able to grab a reservation, you can always try and go to the Rose and Crown Pub which is first come first serve.

Bangers and Mash

If you love fireworks, adventurous and tame options, and cozy atmospheres, this is a great place to dine. If you don’t want to take a lot of time or you want a lighter meal, this isn’t the best place for you.

Garden Grill Restaurant

Finally our top two! The second on our list is Garden Grill Restaurant inside The Land building. This restaurant is a great family option that offers character dining featuring Mickey and good food. Not only are the characters great for families, the restaurant spins! While the food is good, it isn’t unique so it isn’t the best option for adventurous eaters.

Garden Grill

If you’re looking for a family-friendly, fun experience, this is a great one! If you’re looking for something more adventurous and quick, skip this table service.

Le Cellier Steakhouse

Finally, our number one favorite is Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada pavilion. This steakhouse has been a favorite of ours for a long time. It offers amazing steak cuts, signature poutine, Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, and Artisan Cheese and Charcuterie Plate. If you’re looking for a romantic date in the park, this is a stellar option!

Le Cellier

It can get pricey though and it’s not the most kid-friendly. Out of all the EPCOT options though, it’s definitely our favorite.
