Take advantage of the night.

Tiny glowing bees (fireflies) will come down to a random field at night. They will settle someplace on the ground, and if you walk on top of them, you can get many rewards. Usually, they will also leave at least one moon charm. If you have 100 moon charms, you can use them to make one moon amulet, which can give helpful buffs. There is also a chance of a Vicious Bee spawning! You can get stingers by defeating it, which you can use to get a Vicious Bee after you get 250.

Use Codes.
Download Article
Using promo codes are an easy way to get buffs and rewards. You can find these promo codes by googling them online, or you can go to the developer's Twitter account. If you have just started Bee Swarm Simulator, this can help you get a good start! It also has good boosts though, so you might want to save some for later and not use it all at once.

Do the ant challenge.
Download Article
If you have 20 bees and an ant pass, you can do the ant challenge! Everything you collect there instantly converts into honey, so you can get a lot of honey quickly. You have to fight ants as a bar gradually goes higher until you go to the next round. You have a few minutes to do it. After you finish, you get tons of rewards. You can even get an ant amulet, which grants really useful buffs and boosts. You can get a free ant pass every few hours.

Try to get gifted bees.
Download Article
When a bee is gifted, its stats are significantly boosted. This offers a variety of things that can help your pollen collecting. Using a star jelly can transform a bee into a random gifted bee, and using a star treat turns a bee gifted. Be careful on what you use star jelly and star treats on as they are very rare. Try to use star treats on a bee that already has good stats so you can improve them even more.

Question
How can I start as a new player of to have a faster growth?
Claire Xue
Community Answer
Using some codes can get you nice boosts as a quick start! But you shouldn't use them all at once. Look at the benefits and see which one you need, and save some for later or for when you're higher in the game.

Tips
When battling bosses, battle them at least once each week. Once you lock into this cycle, you'll know if your bees are getting stronger or not, and you'll also regularly get rewards.

Do multiple quests from multiple bears, you can multitask if you have similar quests and you will get them done faster. (ie. black bear says to collect 100,000 pollen from the dandelion field, and panda bear says to collect 10,000 pollen from any field, your quests can overlap).

Don't just buy everything that you can as soon as you get enough honey! It's better to save up for good items that will really benefit your skill.

Tips from our Readers
The advice in this section is based on the lived experiences of wikiHow readers like you. If you have a helpful tip you’d like to share on wikiHow, please submit it in the field below.
- Get music bees and baby bees at the start. A lot of them. Baby bees give double pollen for 30 seconds and music bees give melody. If you are at the endgame, replace the baby bees for gifted tadpole bees and the music bees with bees that use the toy horn and kazoo to get melody buff.
- Also try to place planters in as many fields as you possibly can, though the rewards for a planter vary depending on what field you place them in. So place your planters strategically! Ticket planters are the ones that I recommend, As they give you tickets to use on the ticket tent.
- Never ever hatch diamond eggs, as legendary bees are not that good; 5% chance of mythic is too low. Save 5 diamond eggs for a diamond mask, since once you get all the guaranteed ones they are very hard to obtain.
- Only use treats to level up your bees, as they can be purchased with honey. Fruits like strawberries are used to craft ingredients like red extracts. Save up ingredients to buy gear, like the elite red guard.
- If you want to do the ant challenge, wait until your container is full. Your pollen will be instantly converted, and you do not need to waste a micro converter. You also don't have to wait to convert.

Run away from the creature you are attacking if your health gets too low, as this will take away all of the pollen that you have collected. After, come back and try again!
