You start off the game by tapping to drop a coin on a moving belt to try and knock extra coins off the edge to make money. Once you reach a certain amount of coins that fall off the platform, it activates a slot machine that you can spin to hopefully win a jackpot.

The goal is to match 3 symbols in a row on a single spin. It’s similar to any real split machine at a casino.

But Lucky Chip Spin also has a variety of power-ups and bonuses to help you earn cash faster.

For example, you can activate a Shake power up, which helps knock off more coins from the belt. And there's also a Piggy Bank that you can crack open each time you level up to earn even more coins.

There are even quests you can complete, like earning a certain number of gold bars, which also sometimes appear on the belt.

And, Lucky Chip Spin even lets you earn puzzle pieces, which you can apparently redeem for prizes like Apple iPhones and iPads.

Honestly, I found that Lucky Chip Spin became incredibly hectic within about 1 minute of testing the app. I leveled up, activated some power ups, and my phone nearly froze as the game became packed with coins and special prizes.

Of course, non-skippable ads play every 30 seconds or so when you play. You can also watch sponsored videos or ads to increase your play-time and to earn bonus cash.

You earn virtual cash as you knock off coins and complete quests in Lucky Chip Spin. And the app says that you can cash out for free PayPal money or through Cash App once you earn $300.

A $300 cash out requirement sounds immense since most reward apps have $5 or $10 requirements.

However, I was able to earn over $300 in virtual cash after a few minutes of playing Lucky Chip Spin. And the app let me enter my PayPal email address to try and cash out.

Here's the catch: my reward is marked as “checking status” and hasn't changed for hours. And I haven't gotten a confirmation or email from Lucky Chip Spin that cash is on the way.

This is an obvious scam, and there's no way I'm actually getting my PayPal money after just a few minutes of using this app.
