  • Lemon– Half is all that is needed for this delicious fresh juice. One thing to note is that it needs to be peeled before putting it in the juicer. (This is the only fruit/veggie in this recipe that needs to have that done before processing.)
  • Ginger – a healthy source of antioxidants, ginger adds a zesty flavor to the juice.
  • Apples – The natural sugar in apples provides a nice sweetness to the juice. You can use any type of apple you like, but I prefer to use a variety with a good balance of sweetness and tartness. If you’re looking for an extra zing, try using a green apple.
  • ParsleyParsley is an excellent source of antioxidants and vitamins A, C, and K. It also helps to detoxify the body.

Tip

If you use too much ginger, the juice will have a definite “bite” to it. Go easy the first time that you make it. I would recommend making your first batch with about 1.5″ – 2″ of fresh ginger. No need to peel it. Just rinse it off really well before putting it in the chute.
